The ceremony is part of activities for the “2022 Vietnam Farmers Pride Program.”

“Business and agricultural production models from Vietnam’s outstanding farmers this year once again show the strength of the agricultural sector across Vietnam. The honorees have had initiatives and techniques to help improve productivity and quality of agricultural products, made achievements in new rural development, and contributed to national defence,” said Pham Tien Nam, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association.

Nearly 700 outstanding farmers have been honored after 10 years since the “Vietnam Farmers Pride Program” was launched.
