Fellow countrymen, comrades, and soldiers,
2020, the Lunar Year of the Rat, has arrived in Vietnam. On behalf of Party and State leaders, I extend my best wishes to my fellow countrymen, comrades, soldiers, and overseas Vietnamese. I wish people all over the world a new year of peace, friendship, cooperation, and sustainable development.
In 2019, the Year of the Pig, Vietnam recorded impressive achievements across the board and learned many valuable lessons. On behalf of Party and State leaders, I greatly appreciate the contributions made by my fellow countrymen, comrades, and soldiers to this progress. Many major events will take place in 2020, including Party congresses at various levels in anticipation of the 13th National Party Congress.
With great confidence and strong determination, the entire Party, people, and army will continue to uphold national unity, overcome challenges, and act aggressively to accomplish all set targets, and create new momentum for rapid and sustainable development in the future.
