Season for falling almond leaves creates dreamy Hanoi

(VOVWORLD) - Recent days has seen plenty of roads throughout the capital lined with a distinct yellow carpet of leaves that have fallen from tropical almond trees, locally known as Bang trees.

Typically during early March, almond trees along To Lich river begin to bud with an array of yellow leaves.

Lang street becomes a popular venue for local residents to come to snap photos.

Both young and old people are keen to see the mesmerising beauty of the capital at this time of year.
