Painter Le Kinh Tai and his multi-billion VND treasure

(VOVWORLD) -An exhibit titled “Retrospective” by Le Kinh Tai, one of the most “controversial” contemporary painters in Vietnam, took place at the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art from October 15 to November 12, 2017. All the paintings on display center around egoism from a satirical perspective.

Graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 1997, Le Kinh Tai soon became a popular painter in Ho Chi Minh city. His works are highly priced and much sought after in the market.

Ms. Chua G.Bee (from Zen Gallery) has collected Tai’s paintings for years, enough to organize an exhibit in the US, Hong Kong, Chile, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Tai has hosted 10 individual exhibits and taken part in 30 others in and outside Vietnam. He earned scholarships from Haslla Artworld museum of the Republic of Korea and Vermont Studio Center of the US.
