(VOVWORLD) - Binh Dinh attracts tourists for its spectacular scenery; the harmony between skies and land, mountains and ocean; and seductive traditional culture.

Binh Dinh province is located on Vietnam’s south-central coast, where magnificent, unspoiled natural beauty still exists. Bai Xep fishery village in Quy Nhon was named one of the 16 most attractive destinations in Asia by US Business Insider magazine in 2016. The village is considered a mysterious pearl that not many tourists have heard of. Other attractions around Quy Nhon City are Ky Co beach, Trung Luong beach, Hon Kho island, and Cu Lao Xanh island.

Binh Dinh is famous for the Tay Son Rebellion led by farmer hero Nguyen Hue, who later became King Quang Trung. The Quang Trung Museum is a popular tourist destination. Binh Dinh was the birthplace of great writers and poets like Xuan Dieu, Han Mac Tu, Yen Lan, and Dao Tan, who laid the foundation of Tuong singing.

Over 700 pagodas and Cham towers are located in Binh Dinh, making it the Buddism center of central Vietnam.
