(VOVWORLD) - A range of Halloween toys and decorations are on sale on Hang Ma street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter as the festival is drawing near.

Originally a festival celebrated in the West, Halloween falls on October 31 annually.
Customers can purchase festive items weeks before Halloween. There is a wide range of toys going on sale, including pumpkins and costumes.
Pumpkin-shaped lanterns are always the most popular item on sale. Children carry them to travel from house to house, asking for treats with the phrase "Trick or treat".
Ghost-shaped lanterns are also one of the most favorite items among young people.
