Flags, banners displayed in Hanoi ahead of national election day

(VOVWORLD) - The streets of Hanoi have turned red with national flags and various banners hung up in order to mark the upcoming election of the 15th National Assembly (NA) and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Voters nationwide are set to go to the polls on May 23 to elect members to the 15th NA and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.

In the buildup to the occasion, many streets throughout Hanoi can be seen adorned with numerous flags, banners, and propaganda posters celebrating the event.
