Fansipan mountain covered with frost

Chia sẻ

(VOVWORLD) - The Fansipan mountain in Sapa city, Lao Cai province, is being covered with a 7mm-thick layer snow and ice.

The snow falls slightly, forming a thin snow layer covering the floor of the pyramid area. It looks like pure white chiffon

Sun World Fansipan Legend’s staff say frost appeared from early morning of January 17 and lasted until 9a.m

The temperature on Fansipan peak at 8 am on January 17 is 2.5 degrees C

If the temperatures continue to stay low, visitors will likely witness ice frost on Fansipan peak in the early morning

Fansipan, 3,143 meters high, is the highest mountain in Vietnam and in Indochinese Peninsula (comprising Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia). Hence it is called "the Roof of Indochina". It's 9 km from the southwest of Sa Pa town in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range

This is the place where visitors can enjoy the amazing snow and frost phenomena during snowy days of winter
