The figure includes 770 thousand USD raised by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee. 17 provincial and municipal chapters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front directly delivered 1.2 million USD to Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Thua Thien-Hue province. Central Relief Aid Board said on Tuesday that receiption, allocation, and use of donated cash and kind were carried out in an open, transparent manner. Discussions will continue on helping locals restore production and stabilize their lives.

The Prime Minister sent a message on emergency response in the central region in which he called for active measures to minimize the impact of the flooding.
