(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has praised Vietnam Red Cross Society’s efforts in inspiring humanitarian movements nationwide.

She conferred the association with a Labor Order, 2^nd class in its 70^th anniversary in Hanoi on Saturday. Ngan asked the association to improve social humanitarian activities, community based healthcare, emergency response and preparedness: “The organization needs to renovate its operation method to improve personnel capacity. It should stay close to the people and share the burden of those in need with knowledge and skills to ensure productivity in humanitarian activities.”
