(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has signed a decision to issue the Party Political Bureau’s Directive on study, understanding, communicating, and implementing Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress. This extensive political activity with special importance aims to improve awareness; strengthen unity in awareness, action within the Party, and the people’s consensus; and consolidate national strength in the cause of national construction and defense.

The 12^th National Party Congress was held in Hanoi between January 20^th and 28^th. The documents and resolutions adopted by the Congress further confirm the Party’s viewpoints and guidelines for the national renovation process.

Unity in Awareness

The Political Bureau has determined that the key task this year is to study, understand, communicate, and implement Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress. This should be performed realistically and effectively to ensure that every Party member, particularly those who hold key positions at all levels, firmly grasp and correctly realize them in a way adapted to the changes and actual situation in their locality and agency.

These activities should be carried out widely, thoroughly, and seriously to make an important contribution to strengthening the political awareness of government officials, party members, and people of all strata, effectively foiling all hostile allegations and protecting the Party’s correct, scientific, and revolutionary viewpoints and renewal policies and guidelines.          

In order to effectively study, understand, and implement Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress, party committees at each level should firmly grasp their key contents before organizing the study and implementation in conformity with the actual situation in the locality and organization. 

In the process, it is essential to strengthen Party building, making the Party really pure, strong and closely connected to the people and preventing the degradation of ideology, politics, morality, and lifestyle among Party members. Accordingly, the implementation of Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress should strictly link to the implementation of Resolutions of the 4^th plenum of the 11^th Party Central Committee on Party building and Directive 03 of the Political Bureau on continued learning and following the moral example of the late President Ho Chi Minh. Fulfilling this task will further consolidate the ideological foundation of each Party member and government official, help them fulfill their responsibility to the Party and people, and have a good effect on the whole society.

Mr. Bui Van Tinh, member of the 12^th Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee said: “We will develop a specific action program to realize Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress and Resolutions of the 16^th Provincial Party Congress, with particular focus on Party building and socio-economic development.”

Unity in Action

With correct and firm awareness and understanding, Party Committees at all levels will develop suitable and realistic action plans and programs. They will identify key contents and implement steps to make a breakthrough. This requires committee members, particularly the Party Secretary, to think carefully and find good solutions to the urgent issues in people’s lives.

Mr. Nguyen Van Du, member of the 12^th Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Bac Kan provincial Party Committee said: “We have the responsibility to transfer the spirit of Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress to the Party Committee and to people of all ethnic groups in Bac Kan province and develop a plan to implement the resolutions. We will adjust the provincial Party Committee’s action program to the objectives and solutions worked out in Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress and together with the Party Central Committee strive to lead Vietnam’s socio-economic development and national defense and security.”

Mr. Le Dinh Son, member of the 12th Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Ha Tinh provincial Party Committee said Ha Tinh will take advantage of favorable conditions in the first months of the year to realize Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress. Son said: “The Congress documents show the Party’s strong determination for renewal in this tenure, particularly the important task of making Vietnam an industrialized and modernized country soon. To this end, Ha Tinh will concentrate on industrial development until 2020. We are determined to fulfill this task.”         

Over the last 86 years of development, the Vietnam Communist Party has led, organized and promoted the great national strength and obtained great achievements in its revolutionary cause. The effective implementation of Resolutions of the 12^th National Party Congress is the prerequisite for building a pure, strong Party, and successfully realizing the strategic tasks of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as a rich people, a strong country, and a democratic, fair and civilized society.
