The Vietnam Fatherland Front gives gifts to social beneficiaries.

Caring for the Tet celebration of disadvantaged people, particularly ethnic minority people, is one of the important tasks of the Party, State, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lai Chau province mobilized agencies and organizations to provide gifts to 225 poor families and ethnic people to help them have a happy Tet.

Quang Ngai province has given away nearly 390,000 USD worth of essential goods to poor ethnic families in 6 mountainous districts as well as rice to 9,600 households.

Nguyen Cao Phuc, President of the Quang Ngai Fatherland Front, said: “We have provided more than 14,000 Tet gifts. We will continue to work with the Fatherland Fronts at the district level and the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to deliver gifts to around 300,000  families in need.”

Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said VFF branches have launched many charity programs such as “Tet for the poor”, “Homeland Spring”, and “Homeland warm sentiment”.

“The Vietnam Fatherland Front has also consulted the Party and State leaders to present gifts to social beneficiary families during the lunar New Year celebration,” Anh said.

Activities to help disadvantaged ethnic people have promoted great national unity and a spirit of mutual support.
