The trade fair has attracted exhibitors from 36 cities and provinces nationwide, as well as 29 foreign exhibitors from Australia, Russia, Japan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, and New Zealand.
On display are agro-forestry-fishery products, including key export items, with certificates of origin and meeting OCOP standards.
Nguyen Minh Tien, head of the Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture (Agritrade), said the fair aims to introduce Vietnam’s agricultural development, high-tech agricultural products, and environment-friendly products, as well as to promote trade and increase exchanges between businesses and localities.
Mr. Tien said: "The fair introduces Vietnam’s agricultural achievements over the past few years and its orientation for agricultural development – shifting from agricultural production to an agricultural economy based on integrating values, environmental friendliness, meeting food hygiene and safety standards, improving productivity, and moving toward sustainable development."
The fair includes conferences and forums on exporting Vietnamese agricultural products to European countries, advice and information for agriculture startups, mountain and island agricultural products, and package design.
