Fellow countrymen, comrades, and soldiers,
A new spring filled with joys, optimism, and hopes has arrived in Vietnam. On behalf of Party and State leaders, I extend the best wishes to fellow countrymen, comrades, soldiers and overseas Vietnamese. I wish people all over the world a new year of peace, friendship, prosperity, and happiness.
In 2018, the Year of the Dog, the entire Vietnamese Party, people, and army united to get past numerous difficulties and challenges to record important and comprehensive progress in almost all areas.
Welcoming the Year of the Pig 2019, which is of paramount importance for the implementation of the 12th National Party Congress resolution and the 2016-2020 socio-economic development plan, and preparations for the 13th National Party Congress, the entire nation will continue to make concerted efforts to fulfill the set targets and tasks to build a stronger Vietnam.
