|The national high-school exams take place from June 25 to 27, 2019.
Prior to the examinations, the Prime Minister asked local leaders to take responsibility for ensuring the integrity and safety of the examinations. All provinces and cities have established Steering Committees for the national exams.
Nguyen Huy Bang, Head of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education and Training, said: “The Prime Minister has asked functional agencies to tighten management to avoid problems. The Ministry of Education and Training has trained local units to ensure that mistakes made in the past are avoided.”
HCMC has 110 examination sites in 24 precincts. Nguyen Duc Hien, Head of the examination site at Tran Khai Nguyen high school in district 5, said the examination supervisors were trained for their job.
“We have informed students of the examination rules and necessary preparations they should make for the exams,” said Hien.
Flooding in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province, on Monday night does not affect the examinations. Local authorities ensure dependable transportation for the examinees and their relatives.
Le Tan Phong, Chairman of Sa Pa district’s People’s Committee, said: “Floods have not seriously disrupted the examinations. Traffic safety and security will be ensured throughout the examinations.”
The final national high-school exams will take place from June 25 to 27. The results will be used by universities to determine entrance qualifications.
