Many Party members and public stressed the importance of personnel preparation which has been discussed by the Party Central Committee with a high consensus.
Party member Nguyen Manh Thang in Hanoi said, 'The scientific, serious, and thorough screenings of personnel for the 13th National Party Congress shows the determination of the Party Central Committee, the Party Politburo, and the Party Secretariat in Party building and rectification. Personnel is the root of all work. Only qualified cadres who work for the people, dare to think and dare to do can bring about reforms and help national construction.'
Associate Professor, Doctor Le Van Yen of the National Political Publishing House, said that personnel is the core and decisive factor. 'We need to select moral and talented cadres. This is an issue that the Party has focused on during Congresses. At the upcoming Congress, we need to select members who strive for the cause of the people. It’s important to have close contact with people to make our revolutionary cause successful.'
Personnel affairs prior to each Party Congress play a crucial role in deciding the success of the Party Congress, the Party leadership, the sustainability of the Party, and the nation.
