EuroCham Co-Chairman Nicolas Audier said European enterprises will continue to boost investment and trade in Ho Chi Minh City in 2019, and EuroCham will step up efforts to create more opportunities for bilateral cooperation in technology transfer. He said the Chamber will help link European enterprises to Ho Chi Minh City’s development programs, including its smart city and traffic plan.

Opportunities for economic cooperation between Vietnam and its partners after the European Union-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) takes effect were discussed and Mayte Parnas, Director of the Europe-Vietnam Business Network, said EVFTA will offer Vietnamese SMEs more opportunities to quickly integrate into the global market.
