The Festival will include an exhibition of Dien Bien’s ethnic cultures, folk singing and dancing, food, handicrafts, sports, and a beauty contest. This year’s festival marks the 65th anniversary of the stunning Dien Bien Phu victory which marked an end to the French colonial rule in Vietnam.
