At the course’s closing ceremony of in Hanoi on Friday, Ambassador Luong Thanh Nghi, deputy head of the Committee, applauded the enthusiasm of teachers and participants and expressed his hope that the teachers will contribute to promoting the learning of Vietnamese language and preserving traditional culture in countries of their residence. Ambassador Nghi said: “We have gained experience in organizing tailor-made training courses. For example, this year’s training program is updated and offers visits to Vietnamese classes at some educational institutions as well as cultural and historical relic sites in Hanoi.”

Pham Thi Lanh, a Vietnamese teacher living in Taiwan, said:“I attended several training courses of Vietnamese language in Taiwan. But it was different from what I have learned here because their teaching method is not imbued with Vietnamese soul. When I acquire the typical Vietnamese characteristics, I will teach them to my students and the Taiwanese there.”

The course participants come from 13 countries and territories, including Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, France, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia.
