The films feature the traditional cultural identities and the efforts to preserve them, as well as family values, craft villages, and the triumph of human love amid a changing and tumultuous society.

Addressing the launch ceremony in Hanoi on Friday, VOV President Nguyen The Ky said: “In the future, the channel will focus on the culture of Vietnam, family, clans, villages and their crafts, as well as urban areas. We should nurture culture because culture is the foundation of society, each family and individual.  Vietnamese traditional culture is diverse and rich. That’s why we have decided to work on TV serial production, laying a foundation for the development of feature films and dramas at VOV.”

The two serials will be screened on the VOV Vietnam Journey and VTC channels from the first to the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, February 5-9.
